Razor E300 Electric Kids Scooter Review

Razor E300 Electric Kids Scooter

It’s always funny how the grass always seems greener on the other side, or in this case, the scooter always seems faster. That was my thought exactly when I saw the E300, an electric scooter that could reach a top speed of 15 miles an hour, faster than most people can sprint.

Sure I was happy with my razor E200, cruising along at a modest 12 miles per hour, but I really wanted to go fast. I had gotten the sweet taste of speed and I never wanted to look back. I didn’t just want to go fast, I wanted to go overboard.

Features of the Razor E300 Electric Kids Scooter

Razor E300 Electric Kids Scooter

This scooter is great for people like me. For all those speed demons out there, listen up. I have a treat for you. The razor electric scooter e300 is the most recent and possible final installation of the electronic scooter saga and boy does it go out with a bang. This puppy sports a high-torque chain driven motor, wide pneumatic tires and up to 46 pounds of sheer muscle. This scooter is definitely only for big kids, with the recommended age being 13 and up. With a restriction that high, you know it must be good.

Razor Electric Scooter e300 Rides Like a Dream

This thing rides like a dream. The high torque engine allows it to go fast, while the pneumatic tires allow you to turn on a dime. There is definitely something comforting about this ride. The scooter pushes forward with confidence and the engine always seems like it can give more. Not for nothing but, I think this design looks really good as well.

For whatever reason I am a fan of Matte finish and this scooter just does the trick for me. It looks great! The brake is also blended nearly seamlessly into the deck and I think it fits quite nicely. The color scheme seems like a timeless design and it seems like something I won’t get tired of unlike those other neon red kick scooters that are a total eyesore.

Tips About Buying The Razor e300 Electric Scooter

Apparently not everyone likes going fast. 9% of the Amazon reviews are only one star. The most popular feedback offered was once again due to the battery and charger. This is bound to happen with any device as complex as a battery. What I found to be a very helpful comment was one that warned people they have to be good with batteries in order to enjoy this product.

There may not be an issue with the batteries but there will definitely be drama involving the batteries. This is definitely something to keep in mind before purchasing the product. At the very least this is away to manage expectations. At the very most you can go from someone who might hate the product to someone who might love the product.

A Vast Majority of People Love Razor E300 Scooter

In the positive comments, which were 66% of total reviews, it was easy to see just how versatile this product can be. Some people say that they were able to use this scooter to go door to door for a political campaign, others use it to walk their dogs, one thing is for sure though and that is that a vast majority of people love it.

What seems to be a theme in these 5 star reviews is that parents buy the scooter for their kid and then they end up using it just as much as the kid does. I think it is important to take note of this. Why do we need to make an excuse to get ourselves a fun toy? Can’t we just say that this looks like fun and get it for ourselves if we have the money? I say this is a great way to go through life and I highly recommend it.

Q: Can someone 5'11" comfortably ride this?
Absolutely. I'm 5'10" 235 lbs and I take it out once a week or more.

It does not come with a car charger. And I do not know if one is available.

Final Verdict

I think the Razor E300 is clearly the best of the electric scooters for many different reasons. It’s the sturdiest of the scooters, it’s the fastest, it’s the smoothest and it has the potential to be the most useful. Being able to travel at great speeds opens up so many different possibilities for running errands. Although the motor is powerful, the scooter still remains very quiet which is nice for me because I have sensitive ears (one of the many reasons I can never ride a motorcycle).

Whatever your excuse is, whether you’re buying it to walk the dog, to hand out flyers for your political campaign or if it’s just a “gift” to your kids, let’s be honest with ourselves, we all want one of these things. So don’t wait for Christmas or your kids birthdays, just buy one of these for yourself now. You’ve earned it!
