When it comes to kick scooters for adults, you want to consider a few different factors. The first factor is the size of the scooter. We included a helpful guide on this list to let you know how far you can extend the handlebars on these adult scooters. Another thing you want to be on the look out for is weight capacity.
All of the adult scooters on this list have a weight capacity of at least 220 pounds. This seems to be the standard weight capacity across the entire adult scooters category. Some scooters support weights of 800+ pounds, so matter what size you are, there is definitely a scooter for you here.
A third factor when choosing a scooter is the added features. We also included a small section at the end of each review to talk about special features of each scooter model. 1. Razor A6
1. Razor A6 Kick Scooter - #1 Adult Kick Scooter
You can ride no matter your height! Tall people frequently have problems finding scooters because the majority of manufacturers design their products for the typical person. However, our top recommendation of the best kick scooter for adults, the Razor A6, is a fantastic, reasonably priced option for any tall rider.
The wheels are one of the most visible improvements between the A5 and the A6. Compared to the 200mm wheels of the A5 scooters, the A6 features wheels that are 254mm in diameter. Greater acceleration is possible with the larger wheels, making them ideal for commuting and longer journeys. Additionally, they will enable you to achieve your goals faster and with less effort.
The A5 Lux has been criticized for its tendency to make loud, rattling noises. Razor, therefore, added anti-rattle technology to the A6. As contrasted to the A5 Lux, the A6 has handlebars that are anti-rattling and a folding mechanism that is also anti-rattling, both of which are patent-pending. This might be important to take into account when selecting a scooter.
The handlebars can be adjusted to a remarkable height of 42" (1067 mm), the deck is extra-long, and the ultra-large, 10" (254 mm) urethane wheels were created expressly for taller riders. The A6 provides the smoothest ride for taller riders because of its durable, ultra-strong aluminum frame and inclusion of Razor's patent-pending anti-rattle technology.
The quality of the ride you get from this scooter is another thing we like about it. Having ten-inch urethane wheels as opposed to the typical scooter size is noticeable when you ride on the scooter. Although it seems like every push off your feet is effortless, the quality and distance of each push have improved. It is simple, easy, quick, and efficient.
The handlebars and folding mechanics on the Scooter have an anti-rattle design that is seeking a patent. A typical scooter's folding mechanism would ratchet when being used on uneven terrain or roads with cracks and bumps. The Razor A6 virtually gives the impression that you are gliding on the carpet when riding on bumpy streets.
Overall, the Razor A6 Scooter weighs roughly 11 pounds, making it manageable to carry in one hand. The scooter's small weight makes it simple to travel and possibly simple to pull off some stunts with because it is a lightweight scooter to whip around. This scooter can support a little over two hundred and twenty pounds of weight, therefore its modest weight does not reduce the amount that it can transport.
Additionally, it has a kickstand so that whenever you sit the scooter down or lean it against something, you may do so without risking damage to the ends of your handlebars. If you don't like the soft grips the scooter comes with, you can easily switch them out on the handlebars.
Another excellent aspect is that there is virtually little danger of slipping off the deck due to the surface's strong grip, which is similar to sandpaper.

The 230mm wheels are fantastic for commuting, offering the quickest ride of all 3 scooters with the least effort. It is extra zippy so perfect for getting to places quickly.
The anti rattle handlebar and folding mechanism means it offers a quieter ride than the A5 Lux scooter.
The extra long 34cm deck makes it a good choice for longer feet.
Why we Liked it
If you're a little tall, the Razor A6 Scooter is among the best models. For people of all ages and sizes, it is the most adaptable scooter. The additional features and enhancements over the previous models are truly fantastic. Razor's A6 was created specifically for taller riders, with extra-tall handlebars and a longer deck. Tall riders can now stand proudly without stooping over the handlebars! If you look at the prices that these scooters are selling for, it almost seems like a steal.
2. Xootr Mg Adult Kick Scooter - Best Heavy Adult Kick Scooter
The next scooter on our list is the Xootr Mg scooters for adults. In case you were wondering, the Mg does stand for Magnesium, which is the key component in this scooters design. With the magnesium frame, it can support much more weight than some of the other scooters. The proportions on this are perfect for larger riders. With a wider deck it can easily hold 2 adult feet. The handlebars can be adjusted all the way up to 6 foot 7. With a deck that is lower to the ground, it allows the rider to keep a lower center of gravity, which prevents falling.
This is important for taller riders because it is easy to become unbalanced on a scooter. The lower deck also allows for more efficient kicking. This means you will spend less time kicking on this scooter and more time gliding. I know we all could use a little less kicking and a little more gliding. Although this is perhaps the best overall scooter on our list, it is not at the top because of one important factor. The price on this scooter is the highest on our list. This is something to consider when buying. If you are looking to get the best scooter no matter what, this is a good option. If you are trying to get the most value for your price, stay tuned to see our next scooter.
One of the best feature of this scooter is the handbrakes, making it handle more like a bike. Sometimes the hardest thing about riding a scooter is using the foot brake. This one small feature makes the scooter so much more accessible to new riders. The lightweight frame stores easily and quickly, and you can even put it into a backpack while you ride the train. The ride on this scooter is smooth and fast and the extra wide deck and padded handlebars make the ride comfortable as well. The only notable downside of this scooter is the price tag, but if you have the money to invest in a top notch scooter, this is the one to get.
The Xootr Mg is definitely the best kick scooter you can buy. In just about every category it outperforms the other kick scooters for adults. Not only is it the best kick scooter, it is also the best adult push scooter as well. It can be adjusted to fit almost any height and it can accommodate almost any weight. This makes it the perfect scooter for larger riders.
Although this is undoubtedly the best scooter for adults, it comes with a very high price tag. This forces you to make a choice. There is no such thing as the perfect scooter. If you find that a scooter has all of the best features, chances are that will also be the most expensive one. If you are really looking to get the best scooter for adults and don’t care what you have to spend to get it, this is the choice for you. The best of anything will come at a steep price, and there is no exception for the best kick scooter. If you are on a budget, I recommend that you look into another adult scooter on this list. All of the scooters on this list are very good, and most of them can be purchased for a relatively low price.

This is also a must have for larger riders. It has by far the best accommodation in terms of weight and height. One excellent feature that really makes it feel like a premium scooter is the BMX style handbrake on the handlebars.
3. CITYGLIDE C200 Scooter for Adults
The Cityglide c200 kick scooter, one of the first big-wheeled scooters, is our next choice. You've probably seen it gliding effortlessly across American campuses, neighborhoods, and city streets. 5. Fuzion Cityglide B200
If you are a beginner and want to get your feet wet before you dive right into the world of adult scooters, the Fuzion Cityglide is a great way to do that. It is very affordable so you don’t have to splurge on your first scooter purchase. Even though it is inexpensive, you can still get a great looking scooter in a lot of different colors. The wheel is very high speed, so you don’t need to kick as frequently to move forward. The scooter is very safe with its rear-braking mechanism. It can also be folded making it easy to carry around and store.
The hand brake makes an appearance in this scooter, making it a formidable competitor in the realm of adult kick scooters. It is difficult to over emphasize how much of a difference this makes when it comes to the comfort, safety and maneuverability of a kick scooter. It can sometimes be quite awkward to use the foot brakes that are common in so many kick scooters. You need to take one foot off the deck, put it behind you and basically step on the wheel. You need to do this little dance every time you want to slow down.
When I was little, the foot brake was so difficult to use, I ended up just purposefully running into a pile of leaves just to slow down! This hand brake is especially helpful for those of you transitioning from a bicycle. By using the hand brake, you can slow down without even taking your hand off the handlebars, and therefore you have a lot more control. Your reaction time is also a lot better, making the scooter safer, particularly in the city where there is so much going on. Perhaps that’s why they call this scooter the cityglide!
Fuzion Cityglide B200 at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 29” to 36”
Deck Size: 23.4” x 7.4”
Weight: 9.9 lbs

Rating: 4.2 / 5.0
Pros:
+ 220 lb weight capacity
+ Hand brake
+ Folding mechanism for quick storage and transportation
Why We Liked It – This adult scooter delivers a lot of value for a lower price. Features like handbraking that you are used to only seeing on more premium models, allow this scooter to compete well above its class. If you are a beginner in the world of kick scooters, this might be a good place to start. Please be advised that the weight capacity of this scooter is 220 pounds, which is slightly on the lower end. If you are above this weight, it is recommended that you look for a scooter with a higher weight capacity like the Xootr.
6. Razor A5 Lux Kick Scooter
The Razor A5 is consistently the highest rated adult scooter out there, and there’s good reason for that. Although it is by far the most inexpensive scooter on our list, it does not sacrifice any form or functionality. With a brand like Razor, you know you will be getting something good. This is a fun and convenient scooter that very practical. It excels in just about every category. It folds well, it drives smoothly, it’s lightweight, it supports a lot of weight and it can glide for long distances with only a few kicks.
Almost every way you look at it, the A5 is a good choice. It is the most affordable adult scooter on the market making it a great choice for people unsure about scooters. It has great customer feedback, which means that anyone who gets this will most likely love it. It has all the features that you love including the 8-inch wheels, the no slip grip deck, the adjustable handlebars, the foldable design and the rear brake. Overall, this scooter is excellent. It is clearly the best value you can get for your dollar and you are sure to love it.
The other noticeable upgrade compared to the A4 is the larger handlebars. These can now be adjusted even higher to accommodate taller riders. These two modifications point to one thing: this is the ultimate razor scooter for adults. The other razor scooters work fine, but the adaptations made to the A5 certainly are worth the extra money, particularly for adult riders.
This razor scooter for adults comes with all the features you want in an adult scooter. With adjustable handlebars, a wide deck and an ability to support a lot of weight, it checks off all of the boxes in terms of accommodating larger riders. If you are looking for a foot scooter for adults that won’t break the bank and comes with the backing of one of the most trusted scooter companies in the world, this one is a great option. The reason we have named this the best adult scooter is because it is the best one you can get for your money. It may not come with all the specs of the Xootr Mg, but at a fraction of the price it is a more practical choice for most people.
While this foot scooter for adults may be the best you can get for your money, there are still better scooters out there. This scooter is usually all that most people need, but if you are really serious about performance, you may want to spend the additional money to get a Xootr Mg. All of the scooters on this list of strengths and drawbacks, it all comes back to what matters most to you. To most people this can be the best kick scooter for adults, but to you it might be different.
Razor A5 Lux Scooter at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 34.3” to 40.2”
Deck Size: 13.4” x 5.5”
Weight: 9.4 lbs
Extras: Kick stand
Rating: 5 / 5.0
Pros:
+ More competitive in price
+ From a reputable brand with good customer service
+ Sturdy aluminum construction
Why We Liked It
These Razor A5s are some of the best scooters for adults you can find. The main thing that was upgraded between the A4 and the A5 is the wheel size, but that minor change makes a huge difference. These scooters are faster, easier and more comfortable to ride. The larger wheels allow you to glide over bumps in the road and also give you a longer ride in between kicks.
7. Vokul Lux Big Wheel Fold Kick Scooter
In the interest of adding a new model to the list, here is the Vokul VK-205. It is already receiving a lot of feedback from customers and enthusiasts. Made from high-grade aluminum, it is one of the lightest adult scooters yet. Another benefit of the metal that’s used is that it can survive through a variety of different whether conditions. If it rains a lot where you live, that is not a problem.
A little rain won’t stop this scooter, and it is rust resistant. The non-slip tape also provides a better grip for your feet, something that is particularly useful when riding in the rain. It holds up to 220 pounds comfortably and it can manage shock and vibrations effectively. This scooter can absolutely support most adults and it makes for a fun and smooth ride.
A nice feature of this scooter that you will notice right away is the iconic shoulder strap. This may not seem super useful at first but anyone who has had to carry around scooters for their kids can attest that they can really be difficult to pick up and move around after while. This little should strap turns the scooter into kind of a backpack or, at the very least, a hand bag. With this simple little strap, you don’t need to feel like you are lifting weights every time you need to move your scooter between places. This is particularly useful for commuters and people who are planning on riding their scooter one direction and then driving or taking the train on the way back.
Although this scooter is less expensive, it really does get the job done. It’s quick, versatile and convenient. If you are looking to pick out your first adult kick scooter, this is a good place to start!
Vokul LUX at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 31.5” to 41”
Deck Size: 14” x 4.5”
Weight: 8.8 lbs
Extras: Hand Braking, shoulder strap
Rating: 3.0 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Hand brake
+ Shoulder Strap
+ Accommodates larger riders
8. Xootr Cruz Teen/Adult Kick Scooter
This is an easy to carry scooter that guarantees a fun and smooth ride. Like the other Xootr, this product is manufactured with aluminum making it very sturdy but also very lightweight. If you are into the chrome finish style, this scooter does not disappoint. It pulls this look off perfectly and also adds the wood frame element, giving it the longboard type look. The flat deck provides safe kicking and the low clearance gives you a lower center of gravity, making it more difficult to fall off.
The Xootr Cruz is very similar to the other adult kick scooters in the Xootr line with one noticeable difference and that is the wooden deck. This wooden deck certainly adds some style points, giving it the cool laid back look of a longboard, but it is so much more than that. First of all, it gives the deck a ton of space, you can practically dance on this scooter. This makes all the difference when it comes to comfort and confidence. You will feel much better behind the handlebars, knowing that you have the space to readjust your positioning mid-ride. The deck also provides excellent grip tape which helps you take control of the scooter better.
Some of the other scooters have varying degrees of grip tape, but this scooter has the type of grip tape that’s like sandpaper and perfectly sticks to the soft rubber of your sneakers. This ensures that you not only can keep your feet on the board, but that you can also handle incredibly well on it without losing your balance. You may be thinking that a wood deck would be less durable, but this scooter still has the same weight capacity as the other scooters in the Xootr line. This means that this scooter can support up to 800 pounds of weight, almost 4 times some of its competitors!
Xootr Cruz at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 25” to 38”
Deck Size: 23.6” x 7.9”
Weight: 10 lbs
Extras: Hand Braking, Wide wooden deck
Rating: 4.2 / 5.0
Pros:
+ 800+ lb weight capacity
+ Quick folding with QuickClick latch feature
+ Excellent wooden deck gives you more foot space
Why We Liked It – This has all the best features you could possibly want in a scooter for adults. It is very similar to the Xootr Dash and Mg with one noticeable difference and that is the extra wide wooden deck. This not only gives it the cool longboard style, but it also makes the deck wider and easier to grip. This extra deck space is quite useful, particularly if you have larger feet, or if you simply need a little extra space while riding.
9. Razor Carbon Lux Scooter
A popular product among many different scooter enthusiasts, this scooter can hold up to 220 pounds while still providing a comfortable ride. With a polished black finish, it is stylish as well as functional. Compared to its competitors, the Lux is more rigid. This is something to consider because some people have different opinions on this matter. A convenient safety feature included in this scooter is the rear-fender brake system, which allows the rider to make short stops.
The kickstand is a nice little bonus feature and lets you safely park the scooter so it doesn’t get any scratches. One downside to this scooter is that it is not as easy to fold. This is the price you have to pay for larger wheels and the smooth ride that they can provide. Well worth it if you ask me!
One import thing to keep in mind if you are deciding between this scooter and the Razor A5 is that this is very similar except for the fact that it does not fold. This scooter has two distinct advantages and that is that the price tag is slightly lower and the scooter is slightly sturdier. Without the folding mechanism, there is just one less point of failure so the scooter ends up slightly more durable. The price has been lowered slightly to reflect the scooters inability to fold, but that may not be a problem for a lot of people.
If you own a home or you have a large garage at your disposal, you may have enough space to keep this scooter, but if you live in an apartment and need a scooter that fits under a bed or in a small closet, you may want to spend a couple of extra dollars on a scooter that can fold up into smaller spaces. That being said, these scooters are pretty much the same except for sturdiness, fold ability and price. If these three are a factor for you, you may want to compare the two of these scooters to one another before buying either of them.
Razor Carbon Lux Scooter at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 34.3” to 40.2”
Deck Size: 13.4” x 5.5”
Weight: 9 lbs
Extras: Kickstand
Rating: 4.1 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Affordable
+ Well known and respected Brand
+ Made from Strong Alluminum
Why We Liked It – These adult kick scooters are very similar to the more popular A5 with a few exceptions. First, these scooters do not fold. This makes them sturdier because they do not have to rely on a hinge, but that can be a deal breaker if you are planning on using this as a way to commute to work. Another advantage of this scooter is that it is slightly lighter in weight, making it easier to carry even though it cannot fold. This scooter can typically be purchased for less money than its A5 counterpart. Before you buy this scooter, first compare it to the A5 and vice versa. These are two very similar kick scooters with a few distinct advantages over eachother.
10. EXOOTER M1950 8XL Adult Cruiser Kick Scooter
The Exooter is designed in a way that resembles the Xootr. However this should not be confused with the Xootr, it is made by an entirely new brand. It is designed as a sports scooter and comes in black gray and white models. The Exooter can support up to 220 pounds making it viable for most adults.
It distributes vibrations and shock evenly throughout the aluminum frame which makes it not feel as rough on the rider. It can be taken for long rides because the 200 mm wheels travel efficiently. You don’t need to kick as many times to push this scooter forward so therefore you won’t get as tired when you take this out for a spin.
The scooter is very sturdy, but it still folds and stores quite nicely. This scooter is quite durable, versatile and enjoyable to ride, but it still manages to keep the price tag relatively low compared to the competition. This is why this scooter makes it onto our list. It provides a ton of great features and performance at an affordable price. The small extra features like having a water bottle rack and a shoulder strap can make a big difference. Unlike bicycles, scooters use can’t be relied on to carry anything so seeing this water bottle holder is a nice refreshing addition. This means you can go for long rides without having to worry about finding a water fountain or a place to get something to drink. The shoulder strap also is a big help if you are on your way to work. Sometimes it can be too far to ride your scooter both to and from work, so a lot of people will ride their scooter to work in the morning and then take the train back in the afternoon. This is where the shoulder strap comes in handy, making the scooter easy to carry into a car or train.
Exooter at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 34.3” to 40.2”
Deck Size: 13.4” x 5.5”
Weight: 13.5 lbs
Extras: Rubber handlebar grips, ABEC 9 bearings
Rating: 4.0 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Affordable
+ Rubberized deck
+ ABEC 9 Bearings
Why We Liked It – This adult scooter still falls in the lower end of the price spectrum, but comes with plenty of great features. The ABEC 9 bearings allow the wheels to glide over rougher surfaces without bringing too much of a shock to your knees or back. The rubberized deck is also perfect for beginners. Sometimes if you are not very sure-footed on a scooter you can lose your grip. With this rubbernon-slip grip, you will not only stay on the deck, but you will be more comfortable as well.
11. Globber Adult One K Folding Scooter
The Globber One kick is a more intricately designed adult scooter. It comes with a slightly higher price tag but it also comes with many more specs. It comes with a kickstand and locking handle break so you can prevent the scooter from rolling away when it is parked.
A unique feature is that it comes with a curved handlebar. This is build for more comfort and makes it easier to hold onto for extended periods of time. The Globber is made to have a superior glide to that of other scooters with ABEC 7 bearings that provide a lasting and smooth roll.
Interestingly enough, this scooter even comes with mudguards that protect your clothes against splashing! It seems like the guys that made the Globber One Kick Scooter really thought of everything!
It’s worth mentioning that this scooter has employed an innovative folding mechanism that makes it very quick to fold up and store. Every time you need to dismount your scooter, you just tap the folding mechanism and then you can simply drag it behind you in “trolley mode”. The adjustable handlebars allow it to handle riders of all sizes in comfort and style. Just like with a lot of the other smaller features on this list, this may not seem like a big deal at first, but after using it for awhile, you won’t be able to picture living without it.
Whatever scooter you end up riding, you will most likely end up folding it hundreds of times, so you want that to be as simple and as easy as possible. With this new one-touch folding system, all you need to do is tap the folding mechanism with your feet and instantly, as if by magic, the scooter will fold up. This is particularly useful if you are planning to use this scooter on your morning commute. As soon as you pull up to the office, you just hit the switch and then with one fluid motion you can pick up the folded scooter, throw it over your shoulder and carry it in with you. After a while, it actually starts being kind of fun to fold it up!
Globber One Kick Scooter at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 36” to 40”
Deck Size: 15” x 6.5”
Weight: 14.3 lbs
Extras: Easy “one kick” folding
Rating: 4.0 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Works for larger riders
+ Easier folding
+ Large wheels with ABEC 7 bearings
Why We Liked It – The Globber One kick is another great scooter for adults. This model is very similar to some of the others on our list, but it comes with the added benefit of the one kick folding mechanism. Basiclly, you just need to tap the folding mechanism with your foot, and the scooter will automatically collapse itself. This makes folding extremely easy, and you would be surprised at what a big difference that makes.
12. Razor A4 Kick Scooter
The Razor A4 is, of course, the predecessor of the Razor A5. Just because it is an earlier model, don’t go thinking it’s worse in every way. For starters, it is significantly cheaper. It is also built with a younger age group in mind. If you don’t think your kid is old enough yet for the A5, try the A4 first.
It is less of an investment and you can always upgrade later. It comes with the classic foam grips, which can take the pressure off of your hands. What’s even better is that this scooter was tested by the Razor scooter team in order to improve durability and performance in the development phase. It’s cool to see a company go the extra mile in order to match the level of quality their customers are looking for.
Other than that, this is just a very high quality, standard kick scooter with a very reasonable price tag. You really can’t go wrong getting the Razor A4 unless you are looking for a specialty product for a higher price. If you are looking for larger wheels, you may want to spend a few extra dollars and upgrade to the Razor A5. This scooter is very similar to the A4 but with large 200mm wheels.
This has been incredibly popular, particularly among adults who are more sensitive to all the rattling that goes on with a lot of the other kick scooters. When you have larger tires, you can just roll right over small bumps and cracks in the road. Larger wheels also make the scooter faster, giving it more gliding with less kicking. If you plan on only riding this on completely smooth surfaces, you may be fine with just the A4 and you’ll save a little bit of money as well.
Razor A4 Scooter at a Glance:
Handlebar Height: 34.3” to 40.2”
Deck Size: 13.4” x 5.5”
Weight: 7 lbs
Extras: Double stacked head tube clamp
Rating: 4.6 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Affordable
+ Well known and respected Brand
+ Extra thick foam handles
Why We Liked It – Another line of great adult kick scooters from Razor. This model is the predecessor to the Razor A5 Lux, but it still works just fine. With each model, razor tends to make the wheels larger and larger. The A5 comes with a few advantages over the A4, but when it comes to value for money, earlier models of the razor cannot be beat. The wheels are about half the size of the A5, but otherwise there are no noticeable differences. If you are picky when it comes to having a smooth ride, maybe you got for the A5. If you are looking to save a bit of money and don’t care about the occasional bumpy ride, then the A4 is fine for you! Any new razor product that you purchase will come with Razor’s tremdous customer service as well as a substantial warranty program. It is always better to buy from a company you can trust, and Razor has been in the kick scooter industry for a very long time.
13. Trikke T7 Fitness Carving Scooter Convertible
The Trikke T7 was actually one of the more fun scooters I’ve gotten to ride. It is a completely different motion than just kicking and instead encourages “carving”. With the triangular platform, you have to use your whole body to sway back and forth in order to gain forward momentum.
This gives you without a doubt the best workout you can get on a scooter. If getting exercise is important to you, this is the scooter for you. It provides not only a leg workout but a workout for your entire core as well. Instead of being propelled by one foot, you actually have to move your entire body. This requires a lot more movement and can provide significantly more exercise when compared to standard adult kick scooters.
The downsides of this scooter is that it is a little bit harder to control (I wouldn’t recommend riding it on a crowded sidewalk) it is slightly heavier and it is harder to store. The advantages of this scooter are that it is simply a lot of fun to ride and provides an entirely new experience. This scooter also helps you get your whole body moving, rather than just one leg. If you haven’t yet had any experience on a scooter, you don’t have to worry because this one will require an entirely different range of motion anyways.
This is definitely something I was not used to with a scooter but it is something I am glad I tried. It’s one of those things that’s tough to explain and you just have to try it out for yourself. I highly recommend this scooter!
Trikke T7 Scooter at a Glance:
Weight: 23 lbs
Extras: Hand Brake
Rating: 3.7 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Great for excercise
+ Comfortable riding
+ Hand brake
Why We Liked It: – This is one of the best adult scooters if you are looking to get some more exercise outside. This scooter is very different than what you might be used to. To move forward, you have to rotate your body back and forth. You actually don’t need to take your foot off the scooter the entire time (which may be a plus if you are more comfortable with things like bikes over scooters and skateboards). Instead of moving your feet, you move your entire core.
14. Mongoose 2016 Expo Scooter
The Mongoose Expo looks like the perfect hybrid between a bike and a scooter. The kicking is still the same but it comes with a more streamlined design. The handlebars are also closer to those of a bicycle than a scooter.
They come with two hand brakes so that you can stop even shorter. This scooter seems much safer than the competitors’ so if that is important to you this looks like it would be a good fit. Also if you are into big wheels, this one has the biggest wheels in the game.
They are twelve inches and inflatable, which makes off-roading a breeze. Between safety nuts and off-roaders, there are definitely a lot of people out there that would benefit from this scooter!
This scooter has 12 inch pneumatic tires that are far closer in size to bicycle tires than they are to scooter wheels. This means that you can roll off curbs and over bumps with ease. It also make offroading super easy. Normally, you can only use scooters on sidewalks but with this scooter you can go anywhere. It also handles like a bike. The Mongoose Expo scooter has two brakes in the handlebars, so you can stop on a dime. The braking is another thing that bikers complain about when they switch to a scooter, and that's something that the people at mongoose took into consideration when making this masterpiece. This scooter is definitely a good option for your, particularly if you were a bike person up until this point. This vehicle is the best of both worlds, giving you the fun riding of a scooter, with the safety and handling of a bicycle.
Mongoose Expo Scooter at a Glance:
Weight: 18 lbs
Extras: Extra large pneumatic tires
Rating: 4.2 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Specializes in Offroading
+ Well known and respected Brand
+ Good transition between bike and scooter
+Double hand brakes
Why We Liked It: – If you are a biker looking for an adult scooter and you think it will be hard to transition, this scooter was made for you. The Mongoose Expo scooter is the perfect hybrid of bike and scooter. One of the hardest things to get used to when going from a bicycle to a scooter is the smaller wheels.
15. Yvolution Y Fliker Air A1 Push Swing Scooter
Just to throw another carving scooter into the mix, the Yvolution is a great option. It is one of the cheapest of its kind and has great customer ratings. Once again, this design is as good as you can get in terms of exercise. It makes you use your entire body in order to move forward which is both fun and challenging at the same time.
If you see this all the time and it looks fun but you don’t know if its for fun or not, you should try out this scooter. I know it seems a little risky but this is the cheapest way you can try a carving scooter and I think more likely than not you’ll be glad you did. It’s good to try this at least once, because it could be your new favorite way to ride! This new style of scoter is the perfect balance between fun and exercise.
In addition to the totally new style of riding, there is another cool feature about this scooter is the foot pads. Normally, one of the main downsides of a kick scooter is the foot positioning. Most scooters don't give you quite enough space for two feet and if they do, you are confined to just one foot position.
This problem is fixed with these foot pads that are extra grippy and reinforced towards the back so that you do not slip off. The scooter also has a hand brake feature that gives you a lot more control when you are gliding around. Finally, the scooter can be folded up easily and quickly and stored just about anywhere. All of these features and more make this a fun and unique scooter to ride around the neighborhood.
Yvolution Fliker Scooter at a Glance:
Weight: 13.3 lbs
Extras: Excellent grip, handbrake
Rating: 4.6 / 5.0
Pros:
+ Affordable
+ Hand brake
+ Foldable
Why We Liked It – If you are looking for these so called “wiggle” scooters for adults, this is one of the more affordable options you can get. The scooter is relatively light compared to the competition and it has a few features that make for a more comfortable ride. First of all, they have put a lot of work into adding grip to the foot pads. Sometimes when you are riding a scooter, it is a constant battle just to simply keep your feet on the scooter.
What is a Kick Scooter?
A kick scooter usually refers to a two wheeled scooter that you can ride in an upright position. It tends to have smaller wheels, a simple set of handlebars and a flat deck for you to put your feet on. Contrary to an electric scooter, a kick scooter is manual and not powered by a motor or engine. The name comes from the kicking motion used to propel the scooter forward. The person riding the scooter keeps one foot on the deck and propels the scooter forward by pushing off the ground with the other foot.
Important Parts of an Adult Kick Scooter
Here are a few important things you should consider when buying a scooter. By understanding each component of the scooter, you should be able to get a better understanding of what you are looking for and where you can find it.
Deck:
This is the part of the scooter that your feet actually touch. When it comes to an adult scooter, it can be quite beneficial t have a larger deck. This allows your feet to fit more comfortably. If you wear a shoe size larger than 11, you may want to look for a scooter that has a larger deck. Sometimes scooters say they can accommodate larger feet, but you end up needing to put one of your feet sideways. This is something people discuss openly in the reviews section on Amazon. You can also measure out the size of the deck on your floor and get a feel for how big it might be before you buy.
Wheels:
Just as with most other things on this list, the larger the wheels, the better. Larger wheels make the ride smoother. If you remember riding a scooter in the early 2000s when the wheels were tiny, they would always rattle around and start sending vibrations through your hands after going over even the slightest bump in the road. This is a problem that has been fixed in later scooter models. You’ll notice that all of the scooters on this list have relatively large wheels. If you are sensitive to this type of thing, you may even want to look into a rubberized tire like the Mongoose Expo scooter.
Handle bars:
When it comes to handle bars, comfort is king. There are a few different factors that can lead to a more comfortable handle bar. The first is the grip. Some scooters have rubberized grips and others have foam grips. Rubber grips can be more “grippy” and useful when it comes time to do tricks, but foam grips can be more comfortable. This may not seem that important, but your hands actually end up absorbing a good deal of the shock from going over bumps and hopping off curbs. Another factor to consider is how wide the handlebars are. Wherever the handlebars are, you will need to hold your hands in that position for a very long time so you want to make sure they are positioned in the right spot.
Brakes:
One of the hardest things about learning how to ride a scooter is using the brakes. You have to be confident enough to take one foot off of the deck and place it on the back wheel to stop it. A lot of the adult scooters on this list have solved that problem with the addition of the hand brake. This hand brake works similarly to that of a bike brake, and allows you to stop the scooter without even taking your hand off of the handlebars. This is a very desirable feature and if you can find an affordable scooter that has this functionality, it is really worth it. If you decide to get a scooter that does not have this hand braking feature, it’s not a big deal, you will get used to the foot brake in time.
Stand:
A kickstand is an extra feature that comes with a lot of the adult scooters on this list. It may not seem like it makes that big of a difference, but if you frequently need to park your scooter on the side walk or lock it up, you will be glad you don't have to lay it on the ground. This means that you don’t have to bend down and pick the scooter up off the ground every time you use it. This is usually not a “must-have” feature when it comes to scooters, but it definitely does add value to the scooter.
Folding System:
One of the best parts about kick scooters is that they can be easily folded up. There are a couple adult scooters that can not be folded up, and this can be a huge factor particularly if you do not have a lot of storage space in your apartment. Folding not only saves space in your apartment, but also in the car, bus or subway as well. Having a foldable scooter may mean the difference between having a scooter you can only ride around your neighborhood and having one that you can ride anywhere in town. Some scooters are also easier to fold up than others, and this is worth considering as well.
Best Adult Scooters Buying Guide
After looking over all of these scooters individually, we have determined that they all meet the basic criteria for an adult kick scooter. You should do your own research before buying however. Make sure you check the prices, the reviews on Amazon and compare them with one another before you buy anything.
All of these are great scooters, it’s just a matter of finding which one is the best one for you. Hopefully this list was helpful in selecting your next adult kick scooter. Please look at all the scooters on this carefully before you make your decision. A scooter is an important decision and can make a big difference.
The wheel diameter and the sturdiness is possibly the most important factor when considering an adult scooter purchase. You may notice, a lot of the weight limits on the children’s scooters are a bit too close for comfort. You don’t have to worry about that. All of the scooters we have included in this list have a higher than usual tolerance for weight. This makes the scooter sturdy enough to hold a larger person.
The wheel diameters are equally important. If you have a lot of weight on the board, it can sometimes make for a very rough ride when you go over bumps unless you have the right wheels. We tried to look for scooters that have larger wheels in the neighborhood of 200 millimeters. This should eliminate most of the problems you might have.
Things to Consider When Buying a Kick Scooter for Adults
There are a few important things to look out for when you are purchasing a kick scooter, particularly an adult kick scooter. There are a few factors that are more important to look for in adult scooters that you may want to watch out for.
A scooter for adults is a regular kick scooter that can also be adjusted to fit larger riders. Not only does it have a higher weight capacity, but also the handlebars can be raised or lowered to fit people of different heights. This makes you feel like you are not riding something that is just meant for kids and can be much easier on your back. As a bonus, adult scooters should have larger wheels and better suspension systems so they can roll over bumps in the road without transferring too much shock to our knees and back.
Weight Limit:
The most obvious criteria you should be looking for in an adult kick scooter is the weight limit. In fact, I’m pretty sure this is the defining characteristic of an adult scooter. Here you really want to look for a weight capacity of over 200 pounds. Even if you are under 200 pounds, you want to err on the side of caution because when you are bunny hopping and tail whipping you will be putting some extra pressure on the deck which could cause some problems.
The Razor A5 that we mentioned before can accommodate riders up to 220 pounds
Larger Frame:
The other defining characteristic of an adult scooter is the larger frame. It’s pretty simple, a kick scooter that can support larger riders can be classified as an adult kick scooter. Here you want to look out for not only the length of the deck, but the width of the deck as well. It will be frustrating to not be able to fit both of your feet entirely on the deck, and your legs will really start to kill after awhile if you always have one foot hanging off to the side. Go for a larger deck and ride much more comfortably.
Another aspect of the scooter size worth mentioning is the handlebars. You want to have a good posture when you are riding so it is important that the handlebars go all the way up to a comfortable height. It makes a big difference when you can ride standing up straight rather than be hunched down all the time. You will really notice the difference it makes after a little while.
The Xootr Mg teen as a weight limit of 800 pounds and a very large deck for big feet!
Brakes:
We don’t bounce back like we used to! Let’s face it, when we were kids we could fall off a scooter a hundred times and be almost completely fine. Now, it's a different story, and safety becomes really important. The most important safety features on the scooter are the brakes, and they become even more important for older riders. There are two important factors when it comes to brakes, and each are useless without the other. First, the brakes need to be effective and second, you need to be able to initiate them. Rest assured, almost every major scooter brand has figured out this issue a long time ago. Brakes on scooters are getting better and better with every new model.
The one issue is they can sometimes be difficult to use. I know many of you are thinking about the old razor scooters that have the tiny brakes on the wheel, but don't worry, they aren’t all like that! Many scooter have the bike-style breaks that are on the handlebar. The Xootr adult scooters have them seamlessly integrated with their scooters.
With the handlebar brakes, it’s much easier for a beginner to trigger them when you get into a tight jam, especially if you are used to riding a bike. When I was a kid, the most intimidating thing about riding a scooter was the breaks. I never thought I would be able to get my back foot there, let alone when I was traveling at break-neck speeds! Now we don’t have to worry about these situations anymore.
Folding Systems of an Adult Scooter:
Another important factor for adult kick scooters is the folding systems. Unlike kids, we don’t have parents that can carry our scooters around wherever we go. This makes foldability and portability very important factors when it comes to choosing a kick scooter. As adults, we also need to worry about things like putting a scooter away in a backpack when we take it to work, or folding it into the car when we drive out of town. These things make it all the more important to have a scooter that can fold really well.
Luckily, this has been one of the more exciting scooter innovations over the past few years. Now almost every scooter can be folded up and tucked away. Even some electric scooters like the GoMax can be folded up completely. What an exciting time for scooters! The Tried and true Razor scooter has become famous for its foldable design, and it still is standard across almost all of its models
What to Look to Get the Best Adult Scooter?
The most important thing when picking out an adult scooter is to find out what you are looking for. This can be done by following a few simple steps. First, decide what you are going to be using the kick scooter for. Then decide how much money you are willing to spend on that type of activity. Let’s say you are planning on taking this scooter to work every morning.
You may be looking for a scooter with larger wheels that gives you more of a glide without too much kicking. This can be found very easily by checking the wheel diameter on the product listing. Sometimes it is one of the first stats you will see when shopping online. In addition to the diameter of the wheels, the bearings may be important as well. You may see the acronym “ABEC” when searching for kick scooters. This stands for Annular Bearing Engineering Committee, and this is the committee that determines the quality of bearings.
If it has an ABEC certification, that generally means that it is suitable for high performance use. The further you go up the bearings scale, generally the higher quality the bearings will be. For instance, ABEC-7 is better than ABEC-5 and ABEC-9 is better than the 7. This may not make a huge difference, but you want to choose a kick scooter that has ABEC certified bearings. These bearings will add less friction to your ride and make it easier to glide.
If you want to simply add high performance bearings to the scooter of your choice, you can use these Wheels with ABEC-9bearings. They are the highest rated in terms of performance and they will fit Razor and Lucky scooters.
This of course leaves you with the question of how much money should you spend on a kick scooter. Of course you could spend hundreds of dollars to find the very best, but is that worth it? I would recommend finding the 2-3 most important features do you in an adult kick scooter and then find the least expensive scooter that meets that criteria. Of course you will want to make sure it comes from a semi-reputable brand and has a decent customer rating as well. Some brands also offer great warranties so this is also another way to hedge your risk.
Find a Scooter That is Right for Your Needs
The height of the handlebars can come into play as well. If you can find a scooter with a handlebar height around 42 or 43 inches that is ideal. Luckily, most of the scooters can be adjusted to a wide variety of heights. This makes it easier to find a scooter that is right for you because you don’t need to get it perfect.
A factor that s crucial for adult riders is suspension. When you land on the scooter, even when the drop height is only a few inches, there can be a lot of shock. The suspension of both the front and the back of the wheels can sometimes act like shock absorbers and ease the impact of the fall. This makes it a lot easier to cope with.
In our list of the best adult scooters, we will also include some extra features. There are a few features that may not come to mind immediately but are definitely helpful for bigger and older riders. These will be taken into consideration when we pick some of the best.
Kick Scooter or Bike?
If you are deciding between a kick scooter and a bike, you may want to consider a few different things. The first thing to consider is what are your needs. If you need a way to travel long distances over a few miles, a scooter may not be the best option for you. Although kick scooters are fun, you are very limited to how far you can ride with them. They have smaller wheels, and therefore are not as practical as bicycles when it comes to long distances. The advantage that scooters have over bikes is that they are much more compact and can even be folded to save space. This is a huge advantage if you commute to work or if you don’t have much storage space in your apartment.
A second factor you need to consider is budget. Bicycles are great, but they can be a few times more expensive than a kick scooter. If you tend to move a lot for work, you may not want to invest a few hundred dollars into something you can take with you to another city. Some kick scooters can be quite pricey, but in general, bicycles will almost always be more expensive than scooters.
Kick Scooter or Electric Scooter
A kick scooter is a scooter that is powered by kicking the ground to move forward. You keep one foot on the deck and use the other foot to move. An electric scooter is a scooter that moves forward automatically with the use of a motor. This means you could keep both feet on the deck while you move forward.
When Should You Buy a Kick Scooter?
There are many reasons you might want to buy an adult scooter. There are some benefits to getting an adult kick scooter that you should consider before deciding whether or not to buy one. We’ll cover a few of the main ones here. First of all, it is a great way to lead by example if you are trying to get your kids playing outside more. It can also be a great bonding experience. If you are always riding a bike while your kid is on his scooter, it isn’t quite the same. When you are practicing using an adult kick scooter while your son or daughter is using a kid scooter, you can offer them helpful advice while you both pick it up together. Lastly, it is just simply a fun activity.
Adult Kick Scooters Are Good for Commuting
A kick scooter can be a great way to get from point A to B. If you work only a few blocks away from your house, a scooter can be a great and inexpensive way to get around without having to deal with traffic. You also get the added bonus of enjoying the fresh air before work, making you more productive throughout the day. On big benefit that scooters have over bikes is that you can easily take them on the train. This means that you don’t have to commit to riding both to and from work. You can simply ride your scooter to work one way and then if you are tired in the afternoon or it is dark out, you can fold up the scooter and take it home with you on the train. What a perfect solution!
How Far is Good for Adults with a Kick Scooter?
If you are just starting out on an adults kick scooter, you may not want to commit to riding more than 3 miles or so. Riding a scooter is obviously a lot faster and less tiring than walking, but if you are used to riding a bike, it can become a bit strenuous. The smaller wheels and upright riding position may seem a little bit unnatural at first, but eventually you will enjoy doing it. Riding a scooter will soon become second nature, just keep practicing. Start by riding a lap or two around the block, and ride a little bit further each time. Before you know it, riding a scooter will seem so easy, you’ll practically be cruising all around town!
Maintaining a Kick Scooter
A kick scooter for adults is a lot lower maintenance than a bicycle for adults, but just in case you are concerned, here are a few things to look for. The grips on your handlebars might wear out and if that is the case, you can replace them very cheaply and easily. You might also want to be on the lookout for loose parts and parts that need proper lubrication or are beginning to rust. All of these scooter parts can be purchased cheaply on amazon. You just need to make sure you know the make and model you are looking for.
Benefits of an Adult Electric Scooter
An adult electric scooter can be a great way to get around if you think a kick scooter is too childish. The electric scooter will also let you travel much faster. There are too main drawbacks and that is price and exercise. If the main reason you are buying a scooter is to get exercise, this is not the right choice to make. If you are looking to buy a scooter for as low a price as possible, this is also not the right choice to make.
When Adults Started Using Scooters?
For some reason, some people believe that scooters are just for kids. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only can adults ride scooters, but there are also plenty of scooters out there that have been designed specifically for adults. As the scooter companies are becoming more advanced and more innovative, they are beginning to find better ways to cater to the adult market. A market that has long been unserved now has a plethora of different options that all are great solutions for adults that want to experience the thrill of scooters.
Just like kid’s scooters are a fun and convenient way to get around, adult scooters can be just that. If you are trying to find a way to get to work that’s easier on the environment or on your wallet, a scooter can be a good option. It is also a great way to get exercise. Finally, if all that wasn’t enough, scooters can be easily folded up and taken anywhere. This makes them convenient not only for transportation but also for travel as well.
Now that I’ve sold you on the concept of adult scooters, lets discuss what you should be looking for. With tons of adult scooters out there, it can be tough to find the right one that serves your needs. To find the right adult scooter, you need to first identify the most important factors and then find the scooters that address all of them.
Where to Find the Best Scooters?
If you’re looking to find the best adult kick scooter, you need to figure out two things. First, you need to figure out what you’re looking for in an adult scooter, and next you need to figure out where to find it. In this section, we’re going to help you answer both of those questions so you can find the best scooter in no time!
Amazon still remains the best place to purchase adult kick scooters. There are only a handful of stores where you can actually test drive these scooters in person, and chances are there is not one near you. The best bet is to just go on Amazon where you can compare the prices and reviews of these scooters side by side and see which one is best for you. You can check the price of any of the scooters on our site by clicking the button below each one.
Scooter Accessories and Parts
Accessories and parts are another important factor for adult and Pro scooters, mostly due to the added cost. You want to really get a scooter that will last a long time and not need any replacements such as new wheels or new clamps. This is something people love talking about in the reviews section on Amazon, so you should be able to get a feel for what kinds of accessories and parts will need to replace in just a matter of time.
The Safety Gear You Need for an Adult Scooter
Whether it is an electric scooter or an adult kick scooter, you will always need to make sure you have the proper gear to protect yourself. This includes helmets and pads. A helmet is always a necessary thing to have no matter what scooter you’re riding. Yes, that means you should be wearing a helmet even if it's an adult kick scooter. If it is your first time, I recommend you also wear pads as well. Elbow pads, knee pads and wrist pads are all great to have.
Deck Height Matters for Adult Kick Scooter?
Deck height is an important factor when it comes to adult scooters. You want to have a deck that is higher off the ground in case you hit a small bump in the road. Hitting a small bump every once and awhile may not be that big if you are a kid, but if you are a larger rider, you could get hurt. This is just an extra precaution to take to ensure that you are as safe as possible when you are riding your scooter.
You also want to make sure you have a larger deck so that you have ample room for your feet. This can lead to more comfort and control when you are riding, and it is worth measuring out all the dimensions of the scooter before you buy it online to see if it is the right size for you.
Is There Any Kick Scooter With Handbrake?
There are a few kick scooters that come with a hand brake. If you scroll back to look through the reviews, you will notice a few scooters with the hand brake feature. This can be a great feature not only for safety but also for ease of use. You have a much better reaction time when it comes to using a hand brake, so this can be a much safer way to stop your scooter. It is also more intuitive, particularly if you are used to riding a bike, so it is makes the kick scooter that much easier to learn. This is a classic example of a small feature that makes all the difference when it comes to safety, control and confidence behind the handlebars.
FAQ
Are Scooters Just for Kids?
Definitely not! In fact, many people who didn’t scooter as a kid are starting to pick it up as an adult. This is a great way to get outside and enjoy your neighborhood in an entirely different way. It is also a good way to spend time with your kids. If your kids are scootering all the time, sometimes it’s not enough to just walk beside them. It would be even more meaningful to them if you were doing it together with them, experiencing the same things with them and learning about it together. Then you can help them learn about certain safety precautions and they can help you maintain a sense of childlike wonder with this new fun hobby!
Are Kick Scooters Good for Exercise?
Anything that gives you an excuse to get outside and move around, is definitely good for your health. If you want to add a little excitement to your neighborhood walk, why not make it a neighborhood scooter instead? This is a great way to exercise and feel the wind in your face. It really does make you feel like a kid again!
Are Adult Kick Scooters Street Legal?
Adult scooters and electric scooters are street legal. They can be treated like bikes depending on which city you are living in. Definitely never take them on the highway, but as far as small towns and cities go, you should be fine just about anywhere. Just be mindful of other vehicles like bikes and cars as well as pedestrians you might encounter on the sidewalk or on the road. If you really want to get around the city, we would recommend getting an electric scooter. The razor E300 can travel up to 15 miles per hour and run for 40 minutes on a single charge!
Any Other Good Adult Push Scooter?
Do you agree with the scooters on our list? Are you looking for more good recommendations for adult push scooters? There are a few types of adult scooters that are really great that didn’t make it to our list of the top adult scooters. We’ll talk about them briefly here.
Different Types of Adult Push Scooters
First off, it may be worth mentioning that there are some different types of adult scooters that didn't make it into the spotlight of our top 5 list. If you take a look at the Schwinn adult shuffle, you may see it as a hybrid between a bicycle and a scooter, and indeed it does encompass different aspects of each, but it really is a new type of ride altogether. Some may say this scooter bike hybrid looks a bit silly, but it is actually a perfect vehicle for an adult rider. Think about the check list we mentioned earlier. Braking system: check, larger wheels: big check, larger frame: definitely. This has all the features you should be looking for in a good adult scooter but it was just a bitnon-traditional to make our list. If you are looking for a vehicle like the Schwinn Shuffle, you can check it out on amazon here.
Mongoose also has this type of option with their Mongoose Expo Scooter. This vehicle is a little more on the scooter side than the Schwinn, but it still has great wheels and a very sturdy frame. The braking sytem is phenomenal and it also has a few added features that make it competitive with the Schwinn Shuffle. First off, t has thicker tires that are better for offroading, compared to the tires of the Schwinn Shuffle, which are more ideal for road riding.
The handlebars are also more in the scooter style than the bike style. I can see this being good for two things. First, it’s good for people who are more used to riding a scooter than a bike and second they are good for people who are getting this as a transition from a scooter from a bike. The mongoose Expo scooter is also about half the price of the Schwinn Shuffle, so if you are looking to ride a scooter but not sure it’s in your budget, you may want to give that one a try as well. If you are interested in checking out the mongoose Expo scooter, you can find it here.
How We Make the Top List and Review Products:
This list has been compiled through a combination of personal research (to find things like product dimensions, weights and warranties) as well as combing through customer feedback. We take the time to read reviews written by customers who have like the product and have not liked the product. We also take a look at frequently asked questions as well as customer feedback. All this is combined to produce reviews that reflect the positives and negatives of a product. We like to take into consideration the average reviews of the product, because it is important for you to know if you are likely to be satisfied with it. Of course we do not include products on this list that have received negative ratings overall. Hopefully, by reading our reviews, ratings and lists of features, you will be able to make a well informed buying decision and end up with a kick scooter you are satisfied with.
What to Consider When Taking the Final Decision?
This is a difficult question, and there is no one answer. Every person is different, and different people require different things. Some people may really care about the suspension, while others are just looking for a fast ride. I would recommend you make some sort of a list with all the things you are looking for in a scooter and then make a note of which scooters satisfy all requirements. If a couple of scooters meet all of your requirements, just go with the cheapest!
As we mentioned before, instead of trying to find the best scooter for adults, try to find the scooter that is right for you. You also want to find a scooter that fits well into your budget. You can end up spending a lot of money on features you don’t need, so try to find a few features that are important to you and get the best priced scooter in this category.
Finally Check the Customer Reviews on Amazon
It is important to also notice the customer reviews on a particular scooter. If there is a glaring issue in the manufacturing of a scooter, the customer reviews will let you know about this right away. Although it is tempting to only look at the positive reviews of a product, sometimes you often have to take into account the negative reviews. While most of these are just overreactions of angry customers, a lot of them can be really helpful and prevent you from making the wrong purchase. The trick is to look for negative reviews that all have a common theme. If every single review is a complaint about a different thing, chances are they are making a big deal about it. If all the customers are saying the same thing, that is probably the fault of the company.
